SNAP Program


 

Overview

 

Stang’s Notebook Application Program (SNAP) is designed to provide teachers with portable laptop computers that sustain innovative instructional technology projects in the classroom, while allowing participants of the program to infuse technology into the curriculum and share best practices and experiences.

 

Expectations

 

1.   Participants are given a laptop for their classroom/professional use.

2.   Participants are expected to attend one of the listed 3-hour training sessions in the summer

3.   Participants will complete 1-2 Atomic Learning training sessions each month and provide feedback in a discussion forum on Moodle.

4.   Participants are asked to utilize online tools (such as Discovery Education, Zoho, del.icio.us, diigo, etc.) with their notebooks in class during the 2008-2009 academic year.

5.   Participants must complete an end of the year questionnaire.
